I've just be notified by Ashford that I'm now scheduled for a two week online interview session which involves training, assignments and assessments. Does anyone have experience with Ashford and know what this will entail? I understand a final phase which is a one week orientation.

I'd like to tell a little story about the importance of following up
on job leads and on following up during the hiring process.
In April I decided to increase my workload. I applied at about 100
universities. Some of these were schools I had applied before, and
some were new schools. Out of that 100 or so I got some letters in
the mail (these are never good) standard thanks but no thanks. I also
got some emails that said "thanks we got it." I got 7 emails that
were interested in taking a further look at me.
I interviewed with the first and did a second interview with them. I
submitted all my paperwork, and did the training. Then I did that
waiting thing, but luckily I am on the schedule for the October term.
I think this is a relatively normal time frame. Although I have had
faster...I have definitely had longer! :)
The second had a lengthier process. I interviewed. Heard back.
Interviewed a second time. Turned in some paperwork. Had a phone
interview. LOTS of stuff. Lots of waiting. But one thing I found
with this organization they lost my paperwork 3 or 4 times. I had to
call and try to find it at minimum 3 times. And one of the assistants
told me I had been lost in the shuffle another time.
I had the same falling through the cracks experience with 2 other
schools. Luckily for me I made it through all the hoop jumping for 2
new schools and I am starting the training for 3 of them in the middle
of September. That adds more diversity to my teaching portfolio. But
the lesson I took away from this is:
1.) Follow up with your contacts
2.) Follow up with your paperwork. If you haven't heard from a school
in 2 weeks give them a call.
3.) IF you can get more than one contact for the school. This way if
someone quits or leaves you have another person to contact.

You haven't been keeping your blog current. That is one of the best ways to attract people.
Additionally you need to organize this information. If it isn't organized no one is going to want to sort through it all.
